Constructed of high-quality steel with a discreet built-in gasket and matching metal shutter detail. Features - Single shuttered CAT6A Unshielded RJ45 Outlet - Conforming to ANSI/TIA/EIA 568B. 2-10 - Insulation Resistance: less than 500 milli-ohm at 100V DC - Withstand Voltage: 1000V DC, 700V AC RMS 60Hz 1 min - Operating Temperature: -10°C to 60°C - 16-20 AWG wire gauges Benefits - Increased bandwidth - Capable of supporting data transfer rates of up to 10Gbps over 100m at a maximum bandwidth of 500Mhz (CAT6 can only support 30-50m or 1Gbps at 100m at max. 250Mhz) - Backwards compatible with both CAT6 and CAT5e – however its important to note that speed will be affected - Reduced crosstalk - Beyond the standard uses it also provides enhanced PoE (Power over Ethernet) capabilities that make it ideal for smart home functions such as smart security cameras in locations where standard power outlets aren’t available. - For best results must be used with certified CAT6A cabling.
